I have over 15 years experience supporting Mac hardware, software and peripherals.  I can provide advice about new equipment along with an installation service.  I can help you with a wide range of issues, whether your equipment is new or old.  I can even install and setup a new server, or troubleshoot an existing one.  My skills include:

1. •Installation and troubleshooting common Mac applications like Office, Quark or Adobe CS, as well as some less common applications.
   

2. •Networking and internet connectivity, including setting up routers and email applications.
   

3. •RAM upgrades, hard disk replacement.  Retrieving data from misbehaving hard disks.
   

4. •Migration from old Macs to new ones, or setting up legacy Macs on modern networks.
   

5. •Installation and setup of OS X Server to provide many useful services like file server, web server, mail server, directory services, Time Machine, and more.
   

6. •Storage devices, including RAID, NAS and tape drives.  Recommending appropriate backup regimes.
   

7. •Disaster recovery.
   

Although I’m based in Suffolk, I’m prepared to travel long distances if required.  I can also potentially take control of your Mac from my office.  We can discuss this when appropriate.
